Advertising
Well this is my second post and I felt like talking about
advertising seeing that it plays a vital role in influencing customers to
like or
buy products and services of a certain brand, so the
following post will basically inform you guys to know whether advertising is
really effective or not using Public Relations.
Many people are blown away by a brand that which they
consider to be the best, so now what happens if a new brand is introduced to
them through advertising, what would they do?
Check the new brand out and give it a try or stick with their old one.
We’ll all this will be determined by how that brand markets itself to the
public and if they have Good advertising to go with it. Advertising can be

PR and advertising
Now let me go in-depth about using PR to advertise, you see
PR and advertising go hand in hand but they are completely two different
things. PR is focused more on communicating with the media. You can see more at

Adverting on the other hand deals with promoting products and it also needs
creativity, so you see two different things indeed. What do we mean when we say
advertising using PR? We actually trying to say that PR is a cost effective way
of setting up your story and simpler way to advertise.

As I’ve mentioned above that is a more cost effective way to
advertise and many business prefer using PR rather than advertising itself
because they know that with PR their massages will be communicated in a good

with the details that have included I can say that advertising is really
effective using PR because public relations in a way are able to influence and
persuade the general public to actually consider buying or liking a band. We
all know the job of PRPs right? and for me it is the best way to advertise.
PR or Advertising?
A lot of businesses get confused in not knowing what to go
with either PR or advertising to promote their products and services. I really
don’t blame them in this case because as a business you want the best to
satisfy your customers’ needs and that includes choosing which form of
adverting to use that will make you or
brake you. All I can say is that public relations is more credible than the
best placed ad, at least that’s what I think.

Public Relations has taken the lead as it is more relevant and uses methods that do not require money to be spent like advertising, in these methods message are sent to the recipient through different social media platforms to generate action. I love the blog so informative

ReplyDeleteoh yes the two link in quite similar ways I must say but PR does it for me girl this it is way to advertise and keep your brand on the spotlight all the time.
DeleteIn my opinion both advertising and PR have relevance in today's generation. I do however believe that advertising is a step ahead of PR in that PR is only used effectively as a backup or reinforcement for the advertising message and if exercised alone is not effective enough to produce a sufficient ROI. I mean there is a reason why companies invest millions into advertising campaigns.
ReplyDeleteOK i hear you and acknowledge your opinion in saying that u prefer advertising than PR at the end of the day we all have our own point of views, but PR for me in a way is more effective to advertise and its more credible in my opinion.
DeleteI think I prefer advertising than PR because you are able to control messages going to the mass audience but PR, messages are written to suit a certain audience and suit the type of publication. I think advertising is most effective, immediate and able to target the right audience. The advantage of PR is that it's cost effective as compared to advertising.
